Have a safe and fun summer weekend! The highlight of mine will be attending a Shakespeare festival and enjoying A Mid Summer Night’s Dream at beautiful Southern California’s UC Irvine campus.

Before signing off, let me share a few thoughts on this summer’s trading. Earnings reports for 2Q-2016 are almost finished and economic data since the FOMC’s July-2016 meeting will be inputs for its upcoming data dependent policy decision September 20th-21st. Volume in equities, as is typical for this season, has been extremely light and therefore keeping the market afloat has not required much in the way of resources. However, summer’s end is fast approaching with the “Big Boyz of Wall Street” returning from hiatus to sort out market noise. When they do, we should get some legitimate sentiment readings on this bull market and whether it is to be or not to be.
