I have often said that technology is the “guy” that the status quo (or at least those who will not change) never see coming. In a digital world being continuously transformed by disruptive innovations, the words of the late president, John F. Kennedy, never rang truer:
“Change is the law of life. And those who only look to the past or present are certain to miss the future.”
Of course, I could list dozens of examples of how technological advances and the deployment of such have impacted the balance of geopolitical power, but instead I entreat you to be entertained by Stratfor’s Science and Technology analyst, Rebecca Keller, who cites her own examples and discusses its future potential impacts.
